Social Skills with Cindy Schneider

Cindy is a regionally recognized teacher specializing in teaching social skills to children with special needs by using practical school and home-based strategies. Cindy Schneider is an educator with 20 years experience in the classroom and 5 years training teachers, therapists and principals the struggles of children with social skills impairments and on how to teach them these necessary skills.   She will provide practical strategies for both home and the classroom for children with disabilities.    She incorporates theater techniques to help break down social skills for the children.   Teachers, therapists and principals in BSD who have heard Cindy present at in-house professional development days all gave her great reviews.   Cindy was invited to speak at the National Autism Conference at Penn State University in August 2006.  Nationally recognized speakers who have presented at this conference include Carol Gray, Michelle Garcia Winner, Brenda Smith-Myles, Linda Hodgdon, Dr. Jeanette McAffee, Vince Carbone and Dr. Ami Klin.
